The story goes sometime like this . . .
Bury ST. Edmunds, Suffolk, England 13th March 2001
Matt had parked his car in the Angel Hotel car park and got out to buy a ticket at the machine.
Whilst getting the
ticket, the lady behind in the Q shouted "your car is moving" . .
Matt
turned around thinking 'what's she on about ?'
He look at the empty car space
and could not see where his new BMW had gone . . . panic set in.
Like a headless chicken Matt started running around looking in bewilderment
only to spot his car
"driving" out of the car park turning right down the hill,
passed all the other park cars and then turn right again into the path of the on
coming cars ??
It came to rest and just nudged the car driving passed in the road (only
broke his number plate). After the bewildered driver and screaming lady
passenger calmed down, he exchanged details.
The best part of the whole incident was when the bloke, who's car Matt had just hit,
turned around and said "some-one has just
nicked your car parking spot" !!
laugh.. I could had cried..
Q 1) How did it happen? well I guess the handbrake was not on fully . . officer !
Q 2) How did it miss all the parked cars ?? I don't Know .
. Wasn't Me !
A very lucky and relieved
Matt.
He was not so luck on this occasion...

If you look closely you will see the "police
aware" sticker is up the wrong way !!
Not only did Matt land upside down but flipped the car
end-over-end !!
Very icy winter mornings and bumpy roads don't
mix
No one was hurt.. just the Bimmer and his pride
