| Vassiliki
is well known as a Mecca for windsurfers who want to blast on flat water
in the afternoons. It is now also justifiably growing as a place of
pilgrimage for mountain bikers looking for real off road excitement.
Surf, Sail & Cycle holidays include unlimited participation in
either Mountain Biking as well as Dinghy sailing and Windsurfing. You
decide what you want to do, however the mood takes you. |

Levels
To ensure that you have an enjoyable holiday and so that we can plan
staff and equipment better, please assess the applicable levels below
against the mountain biking holiday you are choosing. If you have any
concerns about your experience, just let us know.
BEGINNERS
Mountain bike beginner, but can climb the stairs unaided.
INTERMEDIATE
Comfortable and confident on a bike - some off-road experience.

As a Surf
& Cycle resort, there is a Dedicated and a Beach Fleet of bikes
available for everyone to use free of charge of at least 10 bikes all
from top quality manufacturers such as Orange, Univega and Gary Fisher,
most of which have front suspension, many have full suspension. |

Cosmos
Beach Club, with fresh water swimming pool. Basic twin rooms with fan,
private shower and WC, balcony or patio. New Air conditioning as
standard in all rooms. A few smaller rooms have double beds. Triple

As
the first surf centre in Vassiliki, we have, indisputably, the best spot
on the bay. The Surf & Cycle centre is based a mile away from
Vassiliki village at the windward end of the bay, giving the longest
sailing hours to be found in the bay. A choice of easy coastal routes or
massive hill climbs to suit all adrenalin levels. |

The
holidays are very flexible so that you don't have to join in all or any
of the programmes. For on the water activities it is not compulsory to
take part in tuition. You are more than welcome to use the equipment and
do your own thing. The resort teams will advertise the activities
available on a daily basis. the following is a typical outline of a
biking day:
0830 - Early morning bike ride. An easy 5kms along the coast before
breakfast.
Morning - Free Riding
Afternoon - A 25 mile route up into the mountains behind the village.
Bring some change for refreshments and plenty of water as we will have a
few big climbs, followed by 10 miles of continuous downhill. Meet at 3pm
for bike fitting; depart 330pm, back by 7pm.
Evening - Tonight's social plan is a punch party on the beach. |
