1/10 scale racing

These Le-mans cars were power by a very fast electric motor and one very expensive battery pack. 0 to 30 as quick as you could blink . . great fun until you are confined to a narrow track and 10 other maniacs all wanting to be first !
We Raced up and down the length of Britain in the National meetings and had a brilliant time. Like any form of racing it proved to expensive to compete without any sponsorship at this top level.
Me, My Brother Darren, Dickie, David, Mark and  many more friends were in the British team back in '91.
Most of us gave up in '91, but some continued (mainly David . . World Champ . . nearly and Dickie . . they just could not get rid of him !!)
My last European meeting was is Germany '91. A very long and damp day . . if I remember right, not good for racing at high speed on slick tyres.

In memory of Simon Blow ('91)

Whilst we were racing in Germany he was killed in a car crash in the UK
Great friends & Great racing
Fond memories
